Your personal data, entrusted to us for the purposes of quotation, execution, accounting, collection or shipment of translations, is processed in accordance with REGULATION (EU) 2016/679 OF THE EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT AND OF THE COUNCIL (EU) of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC.

You have the right to request that the controller:

– grant you access to your data,

– provide you with a copy of the data being processed,

– rectify the data,

– erase the data or restrict its processing to storage, which the controller is only obliged to do if certain circumstances described in the personal data protection regulations apply,

– object to the processing of the data.

Your data will not be subject to automated decision-making (profiling) nor will it be transferred to a recipient in a third country or to an international organisation.

Should you have any doubts as to the respecting of your rights, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority (Urząd Ochrony Danych Osobowych, Personal Data Protection Office).

PERSONAL DATA

Personal data is information about an identified or identifiable natural person. Such data includes: the client’s first name and surname, their home or business address, email address, telephone number, NIP tax identification number, PESEL personal identification number or bank account number.

VOLUNTARY CONSENT TO THE PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA

The person ordering the translation may decide whether to express their voluntary consent, without pressure, to the processing of their personal data. The controller cannot coerce them into giving their consent, for example by making the provision of the service conditional on their consent, if the data is not necessary for this purpose.

PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF PERSONAL DATA PROCESSING

The purpose of collecting personal data is to perform and provide the translation services we provide. The scope of personal data processed only includes the information about the person which is necessary to provide the translation service and the data necessary to issue a VAT invoice to the client.

CERTIFIED TRANSLATIONS

In the case of certified translations it is mandatory to provide the client‘s first name and surname. This data will be processed for the purpose of entering it into the so-called repertorium, i.e. the register of activities of a certified translator. The obligation to provide this data results from the requirement to identify the client or ordering party, in accordance with Article 17(2) of the Act on the profession of certified translator (Ustawa o zawodzie tłumacza przysięgłego of 25 October 2014, as amended). The period of storage of personal data collected in the register of activities of a certified translator and other personal data obtained in connection with translation is 4 years from the end of the calendar year in which the data was collected. After this period, personal data shall be deleted, unless further storage is necessary to protect rights or pursue claims in accordance with Article 29c of the Act on the profession of a certified translator. The deletion of personal data after the four-year storage period shall be effected by destroying the register or anonymising its contents.

TRANSFER OF PERSONAL DATA

Personal data is transferred only in the case of cooperation with a translator/translation agency that is our subcontractor, within the framework of translation services. We conclude a personal data processing agreement with each translator/translation agency to whom we entrust personal data, in which MISTRAL M. WALCZAK acts as the data controller and the translator/translation agency is the data processor.

PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION

The controller makes every effort to ensure appropriate physical, technical, IT and organisational measures to protect personal data against accidental or intentional destruction, accidental loss, alteration, unauthorised disclosure, use or access, in accordance with the applicable legal provisions in this regard. This data is treated as confidential and remains a trade secret of MISTRAL M. WALCZAK.
